This School  Bond scheme  looks a lot like the firehall or hedquist hustle depending on who you ask.

Went like this the mayor, city council,  and hedquist got  a giant grant build their firehall hired bunch of people,  all on there own there was no vote they just did it.

Then suddenly they figured out we have no way to pay for the ongoing cost  so they launched a giant sales tax increase, the people voted it down “we didn’t ask for this and don’t want it”

So the mayor, city council, and  hedquist  disregarded the will of the people sent out pink post card, at the meeting hedquist make it very clear that the property tax authorities don’t care what you want or what you think

You will pay what they tell you pay there is no debating or discussing, you don’t have a voice  they are in charge and you will pay what they want.

Last year tried to pass a giant bond that carried a giant property tax increase along with it  people didn’t want that and voted it down by substantial numbers.

Now there is a new bond scheme that uses some rob peter to pay paul scheme  or pay one credit card with another isn’t a sound financial plan, but when it fails there is no accountability.

the word of a politician is like dust in the wind, money is fungible,    bonds are forever don’t be fooled.

Vote No to schemes, hikes or bonds until there is property tax accountability.

We could start here by make government officials pay their fair share.

As you can see there valuation don’t go up 30 40  50% like everyone else, valuations are arbitrary  numbers  and who you are depends on the number you get.

Then they   lower the leavy it just shifts the payments from them to you, those lower payments are cash in their pockets.
